{made} — fancy fixings.

I made my case a little bit bigger than the pattern to fit my larger hooks. Think it ended up being around 11 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall.

Wanted to use up some of my fabric stash, so didn’t use linen. I used two different fabrics that I had for the lining. I added some lace trim on the top pocket edge and the bottom flap edge for a pretty accent. Sewed everything with the machine except when I attached the lining to the crochet outer shell, whip stitched that all the way around by hand.

I added two clasps at both corners of the top flap to secure it when closed, some of my smaller hooks were slipping out of the side when I had it rolled and tied up.

The deep purple (almost black) beads I used are actually ones I had made a while back, they are blown glass.
