{made} — cotton candy cowl.

While we were back home in Michigan for the holidays, I stopped into the old LYS to look around. Found this delicious yarn and was compelled to make something cozy and warm to wear.

Crocheted this cowl up pretty much in one night, did the finishing touches the next day. Enjoyed wearing it while we were home and since it’s lacy it’ll work well out here in California as well.

{made} — purple sandpiper

Great project to work on while getting over my cold. Was a little intimidated by the chart at first glance, but once I got going it was really quite simple.

Did the suggested bind off, Elizabeth Zimmermann‘s sewn bind off, I like the technique but it really made it curl (like the top) so I blocked the whole piece. This helped to finished it off.

The grey yarn was slightly heavier than the purple and light blue, so the neck is a tad droopy. Comfy and cozy which is all that matters though.
